About

This event was created in response to a strong desire within the Deaf community for more opportunities to recognise and uplift Deaf individuals, to highlight the contributions, skills, and achievements of Deaf people themselves. It’s about visibility, pride, and creating space for Deaf voices to be seen and valued across all parts of society. 

Many of the Committee members were involved in the successful Deaf Expos held in previous years and wanted to see another event like this.
